Preview - horse color chart

As usual, this picture is not yours for the taking, so keep your sticky fingers off, please.


The day (or rather "night" LOL) before yesterday, I got a sudden urge to design a horse coat color chart.
I'm really proud of the lineart and the base shading I made for this. I think this is the best built non reffed horse I've *ever* drawn (without a reference, that is). An he's so tiny and cute! This is the original size I drew him in, so I'm actually quite amazed I managed to put any detail into it at all.

Anyway, here's a preview of the first four colors (well, the first three are more shades than separate colors) on the chart. Beside these four, I've got another 13 finished, and around 25 more or so to go. And after that, descriptions to write, and thinking of a final layout.

It's actually been a long time since I've had this much passion for a piece. So, sorry if I haven't kept working on my trades and stuff, but this one is so much fun, fun, FUN to do, I can hardly put it away!!!
