First of all, thanks for your comments. I'm sorry if I haven't replied to all of you. I've been feeling kinda off today (not because of this thing with Howrse, but in general).

I'm not as upset today anyway, and I got a reply from Howrse, saying the'll take care of it. I just hope they do.

This wasn't an "attention journal" or something like that, I just got pissed it was the pic of Storm that was taken (there's a lot of me in his design), and that I had no idea how to get around Howrse (still don't).
I probably would have reacted calmer if it had been some other piece. Usually I prefer handling things like these in private. Be determined but polite when dealing with these people. It isn't the first time I've seen my art where it doesn't belong.

Well, anyway, I'm behind on answering comments. And right now, it'll stay that way. Sorry. But thanks for your support.

Art thieves

showed me this. Someone over at Howrse obviously has sticky fingers... I mean y'all know my boy Storm, right?

This particular person has most likely colored the lineart of Storm I have in scraps, and seems to be selling it as a "coat" for virtual money. *sigh*

I created my own account over at Howrse to try and see if I could get a hold of this person, or at least a moderator, but honestly, I find that site really confusing! At least when you need help with this kind of thing. Does anyone know their way around that site who could help me?

Maybe it's my own fault for trusting people..? For wanting to show something I'm proud of to others without watermarking the crap out of it? I dunno... *bigger sigh*

It would feel better if the person at least asked me if they could color the lineart. Even though it clearly says you can't, since Storm is *very* personal to me. But I do have a few other free linearts (not uploaded here though), that people *are* allowed to use.

I feel stepped on, disrespected.

Sorry for the rant, but I need to vent somewhere.

I know I shouldn't say fuck, but...

Oh, and the fucking mood thing *still* isn't working.

Yeah, there's one guy you can contact--> [link] I've talked to him about art theft cases before, so he knows the Deviantart/Howrse thing pretty well. He also tends to remove stolen art and ask questions later, which is nice for getting stuff pulled down from abandoned accounts.

i used to have an account on there, but it was frusterating. try searching for users or their horses, that might work. i was only on there for a day, so i dunno what help i can be, but i'll log back on *blows dust off account* and see what assistance i can be of

i have an account on there, but im not very active.. i got back on there the other day and most of the new coats have used dA lineart...

Thanks, but you don't really have to go back on there for me.

I followed ~Kaljaia's advice and contacted a person at the site, who obviously helps out in cases like these. I'll wait and see what he can do.

I find it annoying how some people doesn't seem to know how to read the descriptions of the pics. There you can usually find what's allowed and not for the particular picture. But I know, some just ignore the rules anyway...

I'd love to be able to see the coats, to find out if there's any more theft taking place, but since I just created my account, I can't see them. Which is extremely frustrating...

i checked anyway. there's no way to contact anyone unless u already know their username, and if u do then you go to the Directories.

i hope this gets cleared up soon, it's so ridiculous >.< lol, urs was the third theft-related journal i've had today alone
